Snyder First Assembly has a long history of soul-winning and pentecost.
It began in the early 1900's when a traveling evangelist arrived in Snyder. Many people were saved under her ministry and First Assembly was born.
Many pastors and church members have been part of the SFA family over the years, but January 12, 2003, marked a new beginning. Pastor Steven D. Pe帽a was pastoring the Spanish mission, Mt. Sanai Asamblea de Dios in Snyder when God gave him a new vision of revival for Scurry County. He approached SFA with an invitation to join in the pursuit of revival and the two churches merged together.
From that moment, Pastors Steven & Mandy relentlessly sought to teach people to know the Jesus who changed their lives forever; to learn to take Jesus home. If you ever sat in an SFA service under his leadership, you probably heard him say, "READ YOUR BIBLE!" And it was simply because of his knowledge of the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives and the Word of God to renew and restore.
Today we are in a new chapter. Pastor Mandy Pe帽a, along with the body of Snyder First Assembly are continuing to move forward to the destiny God has for Snyder. The vision of SFA is still to present the gospel in a way that every person can understand. We are here to build the Church, the Body of Christ. Our passion is making disciples and encouraging each other as we grow.

Desde ese momento, los Pastores Steven y Mandy buscaron incansablemente ense帽ar a las personas a conocer al Jes煤s que cambi贸 sus vidas para siempre; aprender a llevar a Jes煤s a casa. Y fue simplemente por su conocimiento del poder del Esp铆ritu Santo para transformar vidas y de la Palabra de Dios para renovar y restaurar.
Hoy estamos en un nuevo cap铆tulo. La pastora Mandy Pe帽a, junto con el cuerpo de la Primera Asamblea de Snyder contin煤an avanzando hacia el destino que Dios tiene para Snyder. La visi贸n de SFA sigue siendo presentar el evangelio de una manera que todas las personas puedan entender. Estamos aqu铆 para construir la Iglesia, el Cuerpo de Cristo. Nuestra pasi贸n es hacer disc铆pulos y animarnos unos a otros a medida que crecemos.
