It is written. Authority of Scripture

  • Intro: God wants our souls to live in peace and abundance; and even more than that, he wants to be the place where we find it. I’ve been saying it all year… We have to get healed: deal with our heart issues and come to a simple principle that we can apply to our life in such a way that it becomes foundational to who we are and how we live. One of those foundational principles is the authority of scripture.: 
    • 3Jn1-4 

    • The Word is my all-sufficient guide for faith and practice.

    • How do you know that you need to deal with heart issues?
      • Your emotions are inconsistent 
      • You are consistently overwhelmed 
      • You live in fear of the futur 
    • How do you heal heart issues?
      • You allow the truth of God to bring healing to the areas of your life where you need it.
      • You consistently turn to the Word to know God and seek His guidance
      • You live with hope for your future
  • A prospering soul walks in truth: if you want your soul to prosper, you must walk in truth.
  •  Truth is not a thing or an idea, it is a person.
    • The Word of God still applies and is still relevant on every level of our lives. It’s because truth is not a book. Truth is a person. 
    • The Scripture has power: not because of its existence, but because of its origin. Jesus is. and these are the things he taught. and now we have His Spirit who confirms the Word in us.
    • The Lord Jesus has every right to command us to depend upon His word because He gave His life for it.  
    • The Bible is written to be understood through your relationship with Him. 
  • Jesus is the Living word and We cannot understand His Word apart from Him.
    • We know Jesus through the Word of God and then what we know is verified in our experience. 
    • The Scriptures expand the scope of your life.
      • Reading the word should build your faith and cause you to realize there is no limit to what God can do in and through your life. 
  • The power of the Word is in your relationship with Jesus.

  • Introducción: Dios quiere que nuestras almas vivan en paz y abundancia; y más que eso, quiere ser el lugar donde la encontremos. Lo he estado diciendo todo el año… Tenemos que sanarnos: lidiar con los problemas de nuestro corazón y llegar a un principio simple que podamos aplicar a nuestra vida de tal manera que se convierta en la base de quiénes somos y cómo vivimos. Uno de esos principios fundamentales es la autoridad de las Escrituras:
     
    • 3Jn1-4

    • La Palabra es mi guía total para la fe y la práctica.

    • ¿Cómo sabes que necesitas lidiar con los problemas del corazón? 
      • Tus emociones son inconsistentes
      • Estás constantemente abrumado
      • Vives con miedo al futuro
    •  Â¿Cómo sanas los problemas del corazón?
      • Permites que la verdad de Dios traiga sanidad a las áreas de tu vida donde la necesitas.
      • Usted recurre constantemente a la Palabra para conocer a Dios y buscar Su guía
      • Usted vive con esperanza en su futuro
  • Un alma próspera anda en la verdad: si usted quiere que su alma prospere, debe andar en la verdad.
  • La verdad no es una cosa o una idea, es una persona. 
    • La Palabra de Dios todavía se aplica y sigue siendo relevante en cada nivel de nuestras vidas. Es porque la verdad no es un libro. La verdad es una persona.
    • La Escritura tiene poder: no por su existencia, sino por su origen. Jesús lo es. Y estas son las cosas que enseñó. Y ahora tenemos Su Espíritu que confirma la Palabra en nosotros.
  • El Señor Jesús tiene todo el derecho de ordenarnos que dependamos de Su palabra porque Él dio Su vida por ella.
    • La Biblia está escrita para ser entendida a través de tu relación con Él.
  • Jesús es la Palabra Viva y no podemos entender Su Palabra separados de Él.
    • Conocemos a Jesús a través de la Palabra de Dios y luego lo que sabemos se verifica en nuestra experiencia.
  • Las Escrituras expanden el alcance de tu vida.
    • Leer la palabra debe fortalecer tu fe y hacer que te des cuenta de que no hay límite a lo que Dios puede hacer en y a través de tu vida.
    • El poder de la Palabra está en tu relación con Jesús.
