  • INTRO: Ask HS to judge between discernment and emotional assumption
    • Do not act foolishly —
      • context: Israel wanted a king. They wanted to be like everyone else. God didn’t want it, but he granted it. So Saul is the one who becomes king.
      • 1Sa 12:20
      • Saul took it upon himself to offer the sacrifices. This was unauthorized.
  • 1Sa 13:11-14, 19, 22
    • The Holy Spirit is our blacksmith and we are what is forged. He is making us. We have to grow past our emotional assumptions. 
      • Emotional assumption is when you act based on your feelings rather than evidence.
  • We need the HOLY SPIRIT to JUDGE between our discernment and our emotional assumptions.
    • JUDGE—reveal your heart to you and teach you to recognize what is His thought verses your thought.
  • Blacksmith & Forged
    • The work of a blacksmith is to transform raw metal into something that can be useful. Blacksmithing requires the application of heat and force.
    • The airflow is the control of the process of smithing.
      • More airflow = more oxygen = hotter fire and without the fire, we cannot be properly shaped.
  • Holy Spirit uses 3 basic elements to shape us
    • Fuel ⛽️ the word of God is what feeds our souls. 1 Pet. 2:9
    • Fire 🔥 what John Baptist talked about “one coming after me who will baptize with HS and 🔥 
    • Airflow💨 Acts 2:1 Move of HS… rushing mighty wind .. that wind began the church. And transformed how the believer functions in this world.
    • Hs simply wants us to put on the whole armor of God. And learn to follow after Him
    • Ephesians 6:10+, 1 Cor. 11:27-29, 1 Cor. 11:23-26
  • INTRODUCCIÓN: Pide al Espíritu Santo que juzgue entre el discernimiento y las suposiciones emocionales.
    • No actúes con insensatez.
      • Contexto: Israel quería un rey. Querían ser como los demás. Dios no lo quería, pero se lo concedió. Así que Saúl es quien se convierte en rey.
      • 1 Samuel 12:20
      • Saúl se encargó de ofrecer los sacrificios. Esto no estaba autorizado.
  • 1 Samuel 13:11-14, 19, 22
    • El Espíritu Santo es nuestro herrero y nosotros somos lo que se forja. Él nos está creando. Tenemos que superar nuestras suposiciones emocionales.
      • La suposición emocional es cuando actúas basándote en tus sentimientos en lugar de en la evidencia.
  • Necesitamos que el ESPÍRITU SANTO JUZGUE entre nuestro discernimiento y nuestras suposiciones emocionales.
    • JUZGA: que te revele tu corazón y te enseñe a reconocer cuál es su pensamiento frente al tuyo.
  • Herrero y Forjado
    • El trabajo de un herrero es transformar el metal en bruto en algo útil. La herrería requiere la aplicación de calor y fuerza.
    • El flujo de aire controla el proceso de herrería.
      • Más flujo de aire = más oxígeno = fuego más intenso, y sin fuego, no podemos moldearnos adecuadamente.
  • El Espíritu Santo usa tres elementos básicos para moldearnos.
    • Combustible ⛽️ la palabra de Dios alimenta nuestras almas. 1 Ped. 2:9
    • Fuego 🔥 de lo que habló Juan Bautista: "Vendrá uno después de mí, que bautizará con fuego y fuego".
    • Flujo de aire 💨 Hechos 2:1. El movimiento del fuego… un viento recio que soplaba… ese viento dio origen a la iglesia y transformó la forma en que el creyente funciona en este mundo.
  • El Espíritu Santo simplemente quiere que nos vistamos con toda la armadura de Dios y que aprendamos a seguirlo.
