2. Fear
Our end time views have been shaped by fiction, not by Scripture.
John 16:33
Jesus' ministry wasn't a fear tactic.
The response to Revelation should be one of hope and point to Jesus Christ Reigning in power!

“Fear has robbed the world of the salt and light of the church.”
If we’re so focused on fear of the future, we tend to forget about the here and now.

Time is short. Revelation isn’t meant to scare us but to motivate us to get to work!
3. Asking the Wrong Questions
Are we speaking FOR Revelation or WITH Revelation?
We expect to find answers to questions like:
What will the end look like? When will it take place? Are we living in the end times?
Revelation is apocalyptic, a letter, and prophetic.
The book was written for real people at a real time going through real issues.

Who is God? What does God desire? What does God ask of me?

- Conduce a desacuerdos.
- Es confuso.
- No se aplica a mí.

2. Miedo.
Nuestras perspectivas sobre el fin de los tiempos han sido moldeadas por la ficción, no por las Escrituras.
Juan 16:33.
El ministerio de Jesús no fue una táctica de miedo.
La respuesta al Apocalipsis debe ser de esperanza y apuntar a Jesucristo reinando con poder.
¡Jesús es Rey!

“El miedo ha privado al mundo de la sal y la luz de la iglesia.”
Si nos centramos tanto en el miedo al futuro, tendemos a olvidar el presente.

El tiempo apremia. El Apocalipsis no pretende asustarnos, sino motivarnos a trabajar.
3. Hacer las preguntas equivocadas
¿Hablamos PARA el Apocalipsis o CON él?
Esperamos encontrar respuestas a preguntas como:
¿Cómo será el fin? ¿Cuándo ocurrirá? ¿Vivimos en el fin de los tiempos?
El Apocalipsis es apocalíptico, una carta y profético.
El libro fue escrito para personas reales en un momento real que atravesaban problemas reales.

El objetivo del Apocalipsis no es la predicción. ¡Su objetivo eres TÚ!
Nuestras preguntas deben pasar de los detalles del "fin de los tiempos" a:
¿Quién es Dios? ¿Qué desea Dios? ¿Qué me pide Dios?
